This Saturday October 1st 9am—1pm HOPE YOU CAN MAKE IT TO A CHURCH WORKDAY, BRING YOUR BOYS AND TAKE ON A PROJECT!!
Here is a list of projects we could try to put behind us on Saturday

1. Toilets that need new flushing parts in women’s bathroom by kitchen
2. Men's toilet off kitchen leaks at base when flushed--may need new wax ring.
3. Front door project-Brian H.
4. Carpet stains--need to fix our carpet cleaner machines, any volunteers?
5. Misc. painting. See Lyn L.
6. Partitions need rework. See Jerry W.
7. Downspout issues. See Jerry
8. Organize garage. See Mike W. and Jerry W.
9. Refill salt buckets for winter--Bought more bags of salt--need to set out buckets in Nov. Bring more 5 gal. buckets
10. Use lift to replace light bulbs. Rent lift from Princeton rental.
11. Dispose of old paint?-ask Nick N
12. Look over wrinkled carpet—may need adhesive.
13. Fill crack in front of church South side with sand. Could use a metal expansion joint. See Jerry W.
14. Class 5 for driveway. Order dump truck load. Talk to Kevin A.
15. North east side drain ditch—Big Project see Dale Se., Kevin A., Brian H., Jerry
16. Put cap on Chimney ask Albert W.
17. Replace old light bulbs.

Chair set up and tear down list - two month schedule

Lets try to add more people to the chair schedule.

If we have a two month schedule we use twice as many people half as much.
Downside: Probably hard to remember to do it if you only do it once every eight weeks.
Remedy: Someone ( probably me, Jerry) will call and email the volunteers each week so they can be helped to remember.

Mike T. had some sand spread in the parking lot. Yes! Mike T. found 2 tons of sand and salt that was spread on Feb. 1st. It helped alot! Thanks ! Kevin A. who used his skid loader on Thurs. the 4th to clean the ice away in front of the east entry. Thanks!

We will reevaluate the partitions and see if we need more reworking and make some decisions.
We still want a "heavy duty" partition for Dodge Ball in the sanctuary. Need a plan and building materials.

Expect a call from one of the maintenance men to see if you are available. Many hands make little work.

Bring your sons and daughters to work on Saturday. Will have pizza for lunch, I hope, with the budget cuts.

Look at the blog for ideas and jobs to tackle.

Still need two volunteers for snow shoveling. Chad P. and Bob S. need help.

Ron H. needs help on chair set up. Talk to him if you want to help.

This is pretty high so we will find out if our 12 foot ladder will reach. Dale Selin is up on ballast sizes so we will work at recording that info and providing a storage space for the different sizes. The goal is to have someone take a year commitment on light bulb changing.
